Jury Duty Training

The jurors are starting to prepare for the trial next week Wednesday, April 18, 2012. The selected jury members learned terminology, such as hearsay and circumstantial evidence in their meeting with a retired Law teacher. They were also told their responsibilities as a jury member and what to wear. The jurors need to be truthful, pay attention, and have an open mind. You can expect to see the jurors taking notes about the trial while sitting in comfortable, appropriate clothes, but definitely no hats or ripped clothes. If they take any notes, the judge will collect them at the end of the trial and burn them. There will be two different juries, so at the end of the trial they can debate their decisions, guilty or not guilt. As the members of the mock trial begin to prepare, the excitement is building.
