How do the attorneys prepare for the mock trial?

I interviewed Garret, the lawyer for the plaintiff, about his duties and responsibilities for getting ready for the trial. He mentioned that some of his tasks included interviewing witnesses, coming up with questions and statements about the evidence and/or testimony about what happened. Post stated that he will be trying to prove that Taylor Hamilton was negligent and was blatantly breaking the law by texting and driving. Post has been spending a large amount of time with his attorney team to also prepare both the opening and closing statements for the trial.
