I agree with the jury!


believe that with the information given it most definitely hurt the prosecution more than helping the prosecution. Tristan Marks said that Riley has been talking about alcohol and even sent him a picture of drugs. Tristan Marks woke up and found Riley dead with his grandma’s drugs right beside him. During the trial, they questioned a medical examiner, which has been in that field of occupation for thirteen years. The medical examiner knows the effects of drugs and what functions it can performs inside the body. The examiner has worked around oxycodone before and was able to identify the type of drug that was inside Riley’s body, which did happen to be oxycodone. They brought up a doctor, which had no knowledge on the working effects on painkillers. 

With this given information, a person still could put out opinions on what could have happened, but based on the information, I believe it mostly did hurt the prosecution. There was not much evidence to say that Tristan Marks was the reason his friend Riley died. With that, I would also say that Tristan Marks is not guilty.
