Jury Foreman's Pre-Trial Interview

The article that you are about to read is a pre-trial interview with Samara, the jury's chosen foreman (and leader!). I asked her three questions about her feelings prior to the trial. Here are the questions and Samara’s answers:

Question 1: Have you ever been on a jury before?

Samara answered, “No, this is my first time being on a jury.”

Question 2: Are you excited for the trial?

Samara answered, “I am nervous and excited. I have no idea what this trial is about. I am looking forward to finally being able to fulfill my right and duties as an American serving the justice system being on this jury.”

Question 3: Will you be fair juror?

Samara answered, “Yes, I am going to try to base by opinion on if the evidence proves that the defendant is guilty without ANY reasonable doubt.”

In conclusion, my opinion of Samara’s short interview is that she will be a fair, honest, and cautious in her decision on the jury of the trial.
