The Prosecution's Opening Statement

Due to security concerns, we were unable to visually tape the entire court room.  Therefore, you will only be able to hear the audio for the prosecution's opening statement.  How do they use Ethos, Pathos, and/or Logos in their statement?

The prosecuting attorneys have a very convincing opening statement. I felt they used pathos to really compliment their argument. I am sure this had an effect on the jury. Their opening statement was well prepared, showed confidence, and was believable. They also touched on the circumstances of the victim’s daughter, Micky Jameson. Now that Mickie Jameson's mother was dead, she would now have to live in a foster home. I believe this really help set the mood for the prosecution. They were pushing for and creating sympathy for the victim’s daughter. However, during the cross examination of the prosecution’s first defendant, Detective Taylor, the defending attorneys really got the prosecuting attorneys frustrated.
