I feel that ethos was used during the mock trial when Detective Ray Taylor took the stand. With his credibility as a detective, he is trustworthy and non-biased to the situation. He was able to give professional advice to help persuade the jury to make an educated decision. He answered specific questions to his training, which makes him even more credible, in my own personal opinion.
